๐ด๐ด๐ดTraffic Patterns for Car Line๐ด๐ด๐ด
Please do not drive up Bermuda and attempt to turn left into the car line
Let's face it, our school was built a LONG time ago and we don't have the infrastructure for hundreds of cars to drop off and pick up students every day- But, If we all follow the same procedures, we can try to make it as stress-free as possible. Thank you for doing your part, and please contact us if you think we can do better!
Thank you for your SMILES, your WAVES, and your KINDESS! We see you ๐ค
โญ๐HOW IS YOUR CHILD GOING HOME?๐โญ
If you need to make a change to how your child planned to go home, you MUST be email it to TBEdismissal@collierschools.com and that must be received BEFORE 2:00 PM. This ensures that our office has enough time to communicate the message to your child and their teacher, with all of the other things going on at this busy time of day.
A driver's license/ FL IS of legal parent/ guardian/ or parent approved pick-up person MUST be provided. Please note, a cell phone photograph of an ID will not be accepted as ID.
โ๐บHOW DO WE KNOW IF IT'S RAINY DAY DISMISSAL? ๐บโ
We will notify you BY TEXT MESSAGE as SOON as we are aware, but please bear with us because sometimes the lightning alert system goes off 5 minutes before dismissal and we cannot help it. It's just as much an inconvenience for us, so just know what we understand, and we are working as quickly as possible to get your children to you safely and efficiently.
If your child is a walker/ biker, and you get the text message, you may want to come to pick them up rather than waiting for it to clear. Our office closes at 3:30 every day and sometimes they lightning continues for hours after that. Again, our goal is to get everyone home quickly and safely.
Thank you for your kindness and understanding in these situations that can be stressful for all, but mostly the children. The more they see that us adults are calm and in control, the safer they feel.
