AEB members received tons of compliments and kudos on your hard work and professionalism at the Solo & Ensemble Contest this past weekend.

As always, the students of AEB surpassed expectations and represented themselves with class, dignity, and excellence!

Any student who has not yet auditioned must complete their audition on Tuesday, May 30th.

Band students in 5th or 6th period will be able to complete the audition during their class time. All other students should come by before or after school. If you are taking a class during 5th or 6th period in which you finish the final early, see if your teacher will let you come to the band hall and audition.

Our goal is to have results for Fall 2017 band placements posted by the end of the day Tuesday or Wednesday.

Students who are selected for placement in the Fall 2017 Wind Symphony will be expected to perform at Akins Graduation on Saturday, June 3rd. Two scheduled rehearsals will be required for all performers.

The Local Natives project is still on! As soon as we get information on when we have a football facility in which to film, we will let everyone know.

We are estimating that the filming will happen sometime during the week of June 13th through June 20th. All will be welcome to participate...we need as many as we can get.

Did you know that you can work shifts at the UT Erwin Center to earn money for your fees, trip payments, and lessons? Each shift pays $35 to $75 per person depending on the event and business.

There are always shifts available and we are already needing people to work!
