Our Service Hawks thank you for your generosity and food donations for the Keystone Opportunity Center.

In compliance with the Pennsylvania School Code (Chapter 16) the district conducts ongoing gifted screening activities using the MAP assessment which is administered three times a year. Screening activities are conducted in grades 4 and 5 using the Fall MAP administration scores, and in grades 2 and 3 using the Winter MAP administration scores. If your child meets the criteria to move to the next round of screening, you will be notified by the school counselor.

Thank you for using the attendvf@soudertonsd.org for all of your absence and transportation updates. It helps our communication when the classroom teacher is also included in those emails.

We’re looking for parent volunteers to help with our Pod Parents program! ❤️

Pod Parents lend a helping hand to our amazing teachers by taking care of some of the behind-the-scenes administrative tasks that help keep their classrooms running smoothly. This might include photocopying, laminating, cutting out projects, and other little tasks that make a BIG difference!

It’s a great way to support our teachers, give them a little extra time back in their day, and get involved at school!

Calling all Vernfield 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders!

The Vernfield HSA invites you to the Sr. Hawks Glow Night on Friday, November 13th, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the school gym. DJ Gerry will be keeping the dance floor going all night, along with glow art and gym games. We’ll have snacks for all the students, too. It’s going to be a fun night to celebrate our Sr. Hawks, and we’d love for your student to join us.

A quick note: this event is just for our 3rd through 5th graders, so we kindly ask that siblings stay home. Every student must be accompanied by a responsible adult, as this is not a drop-off event.
