A Message from Mrs. Franciosa...
We are looking forward to having many of our parents/guardians visit our classrooms in honor of American Education Week on Wednesday, November 15th (for times, scroll down in the newsletter). To ensure the safety and security of all students and staff, all visitors must sign in through the Raptor System and have their ID with them.
- If you have previously signed in through the Raptor System this school year AND completed the RSVP Form for the event by Sunday, November 12th, your badge will be pre-printed. One form should be completed for each child. Please have your ID ready and enter through the main lobby doors.
- If you have NOT signed in through the Raptor System this school year OR completed the RSVP form by Sunday, November 12th you will need to enter the building through the main office. Please have your ID ready so you can quickly scan in through the Raptor System. Please know that only one person is able to do this at a time and this could result in lost time for the classroom visit. Unfortunately, we are not able to extend classroom visit times.
Home & School Meeting: Please consider joining us for our Home & School meeting on Thursday, November 16th at 7pm via Zoom. Please click on the button further down to join the Zoom meeting.

2023 Winterfest Door Decorating Sign-Up
We are very excited for the 2023 Evergreen Winterfest Door Decorating. Please see all the information below before signing up.
- Please remember to keep the doors winter themed and not themed for Santa or any religious holidays.
- You can start decorating your doors on November 17th through November 20th and the final days to finish the doors will be November 27th, 28th, and 29th.
- There is paper in the workroom you can use to put on the door. You will be responsible for any other supplies. For security reasons do not cover all the windows and the lock on the door. There must be one viewing point for the teacher.
- You must be at the school between 3:30- 4PM to get in and decorate your door. If you cannot be there before that time, then try and arrange it with your door decorating partner or a friend who might be able to let you in.
- We prefer kids to not come into the school while the door decorating is going on, but we understand it does happen. If they are there, they CAN NOT enter any classrooms or wander around the halls. They must stay with you the whole time.

We cannot wait to see what fun themes everyone comes up with to view at Winterfest on Friday, Dec 1st! More details to come for that night.
School Safety Drills
It is important that students learn how to be safe. During November we continue to review and practice our drills. This month we will have a fire drill as well as practice our run/hide lockdown drill. Student friendly and age-appropriate language is used when reviewing our drills and reflecting upon them when they conclude.
