Heartfelt Thank You
We would like to send out a thank you to the friends and family of Lisa Goodwin for the generous donation that allowed every student in the school to receive a book from the Scholastic Book Fair. Mrs. Goodwin was a teacher here at Lansdowne in the early 2000’s. She was a reading specialist and after she left Lansdowne, she continued her love reading and teaching by volunteering at her children’s school and tutoring. Sadly, she passed away this past May. Her friends and family wanted to honor her by helping spread her love of reading and books to the children of Lansdowne Elementary. Please continue Mrs. Goodwin’s love of reading and remind your children to read every day!
