Field Day - Friday, May 30
We are looking forward to a fun and exciting Field Day on Friday! Please make sure your child is dressed in comfortable clothes (blue or white - depending on their team!) and shoes appropriate for running and playing games outside. No slides or flip flops please.
Lost and Found
The Lost and Found is full! We will be moving items into the vestibule by the main office. Please stop by and check for missing items. There are lots of sweatshirts, jackets and water bottles.
Chromebook Social Media Trend
We want to make you aware of a concerning trend that is circulating on social media involving Chromebooks that could pose a risk to safety.
As part of this trend, Chromebooks are intentionally tampered with when metal items are inserted into the charging or USB ports. This can cause the device to spark, smoke, or lead to an electrical shortage.
As a reminder, Chromebooks are issued to students with the expectation that the devices are used responsibly and for educational purposes. As per the loaner agreement:
Students/parents will immediately report all malfunctions, damage, loss, or theft of their Chromebook computer by emailing studentsupport@chclc.org.
In the event of theft or loss, the parent will be responsible to reimburse the school district the cost of any Chromebook that is lost, damaged beyond reasonable use or beyond its value, abandoned, missing, stolen or cannot be returned to the district in accordance with this loaner agreement.
The safety of our students and staff is paramount. We kindly ask that you speak with your child about the dangers and consequences that could happen by participating in this trend, to help everyone stay safe in school and at home.
Thank you for continued support.
