As December arrives, I want to extend my gratitude to the Johnson City community for your continued support of our students, staff, and schools. This time of year reminds us how fortunate we are to live in a place where families, educators, and community members work together to create opportunities for our kids. Whether it’s attending events, volunteering, cheering on our students, or simply offering encouraging words, your involvement strengthens everything we do.

Our campuses have had a productive fall semester filled with academic growth, extracurricular success, and countless moments that make us proud to be Eagles. We look forward to carrying that momentum into the new year.

As we enter the holiday season, I wish each of you a safe, joyful, and restful break. Thank you for being an essential part of JCISD and for helping us continue to build a district grounded in small-town values and big opportunities for kids.

Digital Responsibility Night Digital Responsibility Night

On Thursday, December 4th, LBJ Middle School hosted an educational presentation by Blanco County Attorney Deborah Earley, Blanco County Lieutenant Adam Acosta, Blanco County Deputy Marney Wilkerson, FBI Special Agent Chelsey Miranda, and FBI Task Force Officer Sean Randolph. During this meeting, we discussed issues related to cell phones and computers, including legal ramifications and the importance of having conversations with your students.

Middle School staff followed up the parent meeting with a student assembly on Friday, December 5th where they discussed digital responsibility. It was a great educational opportunity for parents and students, and we look forward to the next meeting.
