District Panorama Letter
See letter that was emailed regarding Panorama Student Survey:
October 14, 2026
Dear Warwick Families,
From November 9 - November 25, 2026, our teachers and students will be taking the Panorama Student Life Skills & Well-Being Measure (previously known as the SEL Student Survey).
In grades 3-12, we ask your child to reflect on their mindsets and approaches to learning via an online survey. In grades K-2 (kindergarten through second grade), teachers will complete a very brief perception survey for their students. This survey is completed two times a school year and takes approximately 8-10 minutes to complete. The survey topics were thoughtfully selected to align with our Vision of a Graduate.
Student Life Skills & Well-Being Measure
Growth Mindset - Student perceptions of whether they have the potential to change those factors that are central to their performance in school.
Social Awareness - How well students consider the perspectives of others and empathize with them.
Emotion Regulation - How well students regulate their emotions.
Supportive Relationships - How supported students feel through their relationships with friends and adults at school.
Teacher Perception of Student
Grit - How well students are able to persevere through setbacks to achieve important long-term goals
Social Awareness - Teachers’ perceptions of how well students consider the perspectives of others and empathize with them
Emotion Regulation - How well students regulate their emotions
We are asking that all of our students participate in the surveys, as their responses will provide invaluable insights into their experiences and how we can improve and adapt our district to their needs. If a student doesn’t feel they have enough information to answer a question, they can skip the item altogether. Below are examples of each survey based on the student’s grade.
If you do not want your child(ren) to take this survey, please visit the Aspen family portal and check no before Friday, November 6th. If you do not check no, your child will be included in the survey. If you have any questions about the SEL survey, please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s school principal or visit the Warwick Public Schools SEL website.
Sincerely,
Kristin Murray, District Coordinator for Social-Emotional Learning

Message from WPS Regarding LINQ
As we begin the school year, please remember to complete a 2026–2027 School Meal Application. Meal applications help determine whether students qualify for free or reduced-price meals and also support important funding for our schools. Applications are available online through LINQ Connect. Paper applications, FAQs, meal prices, and additional information are available at warwickschools.org/page/school-meals.
Please also note that LINQ Connect is temporarily only accepting ACH payments and is unable to accept credit card payments due to changes required by a new Rhode Island law regarding transaction fees.
Families may also send cash or checks to school with their students. Checks should be made payable to Warwick Public Schools. Please label envelopes with "Food Service Office", your students name, and student ID number.
Families may continue to use LINQ Connect to view meal account information and complete meal applications. We will notify families when online credit card payments are available again.
Breakfast Information and Menu
Should your wish, your student may have breakfast at school. Students are able to enter the building at 8:30 to purchase breakfast. Please review the Breakfast Menu.
Free or Reduced Lunches
*** Please take a moment, even if you don't think that you will qualify, to apply for Free/Reduced Lunches ***

Please contact the district’s Transportation Department at transportation@warwickschools.org or 734-3212, or First Student at 739-1980, for all busing questions or concerns. School offices do not receive real-time alerts or updates.
