Before You Purchase
To purchase a parking pass, students must:
- Have a valid driver's license
- Provide a current, unexpired insurance card
- Provide current vehicle registration
- Have all outstanding school fines paid
These requirements help us ensure that every vehicle parked on campus is properly documented and that our parking program operates safely and responsibly.
Three Steps to Purchase/Get Your Parking Pass
Once you have confirmed that you meet the requirements above,
follow these three steps to complete the parking pass process.
Students may not complete the parking process on behalf of another student. Each student must submit their own form using their district email account.

Complete the LSHS Parking Google Form using your school district email address (required).
This form collects the information we need to process your parking pass
and confirm your vehicle information.
STEP 2: Purchase your Parking Pass
Parking pass sales begin Monday, August 17, 2026.
Once you have completed Step 1, use the online directions below to purchase your $10 parking pass.
Please make sure you have completed Step 1 before purchasing your pass.
STEP 3: Pick up your Parking Pass
After completing the first two steps, you will need to pick up your physical parking pass.
Pickup opportunities:

- 8:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
- 1:00–3:00 p.m.

What to Bring When You Pick Up Your Pass
Students must bring the following:
- Valid driver's license
- Current, unexpired insurance card
- Vehicle registration
Please have these documents available when you arrive to pick up your pass so we can complete the process as efficiently as possible.
What to Know About Parking
Our goal is to make parking available to as many eligible students as possible while making the best use of the parking spaces available on campus. The number of vehicles parked on campus varies from day to day. Students may have part-time schedules, be absent, or choose to park elsewhere on a particular day. Because of this, the number of students with parking passes does not always equal the number of vehicles on campus on any given day.
For that reason, we do not set a predetermined limit on parking pass sales at the beginning of the school year. We will monitor parking throughout the year and may adjust pass availability as needed to maintain a safe and orderly campus environment. Once the available number of passes has been reached, additional passes will not be sold.
A Parking Pass Gives You Permission to Park - Not a Reserved Space
A valid LSHS parking pass gives a student permission to park on campus during school hours. Students without a valid parking pass may not park in student parking areas during school hours.
Because parking availability varies from day to day, parking spaces are first come, first served. A parking pass does not reserve or guarantee a parking space.
A valid parking pass is required to park in the student lot during school hours, 7:30 a.m.–2:45 p.m. Students may park in Lot A or Lot B only. Visitor and staff parking areas are reserved for their designated use.
Parking Is a Shared Responsibility
Parking on campus is a privilege that comes with responsibility. As part of the Viking Way - Respectful, Responsible, and Ready - students are expected to follow motor vehicle laws, LSHS parking expectations, and all posted parking requirements.
These expectations help us keep our campus safe, accessible, and fair for everyone.
Help Us Keep Parking Safe
Students are expected to:
- Display a valid 2026–27 LSHS parking pass when parking on campus.
- Park only in designated student parking areas (Lot A or Lot B).
- Keep fire lanes, emergency access areas, and other restricted areas clear.
- Follow all applicable motor vehicle laws and LSHS parking rules.
- Respect staff, visitor, and other restricted parking areas.
Examples of Parking Violations
Violations include, but are not limited to:
- Parking without a valid 2026–27 LSHS parking pass
- Illegal parking, including blocking fire lanes, emergency access areas, or parking in non-designated areas
- Parking outside the designated student lots (Lot A or Lot B)
- Parking in visitor or staff parking areas

Clear expectations help us maintain a safe and orderly campus. When parking rules are not followed, the response may include:
- A violation notice and/or $50 fine payable to LSHS
- Consequences assigned by an administrator
- Loss or revocation of parking privileges
- Vehicle booting ($75 fine)
- Vehicle towing at the owner's expense
- Restitution for damages
