NEWSLETTER | TERM 2 | WEEK 6 | 28 MAY 2026
Dear parents and caregivers,
A heartfelt thank you to Mrs Freeman and Mrs Curtis for the care and dedication they showed in preparing our Year Six students to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation last weekend. Both celebrations were joyful and reverent occasions, marking an important milestone in our students’ faith journeys as they became full members of the Catholic Church. We congratulate all of our Confirmation candidates and keep them in our prayers as they continue to grow in faith.
Today, we held our much-anticipated Interhouse Cross Country Carnival for students from Pre-Primary to Year Six. A huge thank you to our incredible staff and dedicated parent helpers who ensured the morning ran so smoothly and successfully. The atmosphere throughout the carnival was filled with energy, encouragement, and outstanding sportsmanship. It was wonderful to see all students giving their best, some racing with fierce determination, while others simply enjoying the experience with big smiles on their faces!
Thank you to the families who took the time to provide feedback regarding our Interm Swimming Lessons program. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will now be carefully reviewed and considered by leadership as planning and decisions are made for the 2027 program.
Please save the date for Sunday, 14 June, which marks the Annual Festival and Procession at St Anthony of Padua Parish, Wanneroo. Our school community will join St Anthony’s School and the parish community for Mass at 11:00am, followed by the procession at 2:00pm. We would love to see a strong sea of red as St Elizabeth’s proudly shows its spirit and support at this special community celebration.
I will be taking Long Service Leave commencing tomorrow, Friday, May 29, and will return on Monday, June 15. During my absence, Mr Kadir Mastan will undertake the role of Acting Principal, with Mrs Brooke Davison continuing to support him. I look forward to seeing everyone again in two weeks’ time.
Have a wonderful long weekend.
God bless

Dear Families and Caregivers
What a wonderful Cross Country event we had today! We are so proud of all of our students for giving it a go, showing perseverance and most importantly, having fun along the way. A big thank you to Mrs Jenna Newton for all of her organisation and hard work in putting together such a successful event.
Our Early Years students have one final week remaining in their “Dance Till You Drop” dance and movement incursion. The feedback from both students and staff has been incredibly positive, with everyone thoroughly enjoying the engaging and energetic program.
Next week, our Year 4 students have been invited to attend a taster day at Irene McCormack Catholic College. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to experience a day in a secondary school setting and begin building confidence for future transitions. We hope all of the students have a fantastic day.
Wishing all of our families a safe and relaxing long weekend. We look forward to seeing everyone back at school next week.
God Bless
Kadir Mastan and Brooke Davison
