What a week!

We had a week filled with learning, laughter, grandparents and fire trucks!! Not sure about the kids, but the grown ups left here exhausted on Friday!

We are so appreciative of everyone who helped make our Grandparents Day a success. We know it is chaotic and busy, but it is one of our favorite days of the year. A huge thank you to our amazing moms who helped get this all planned out, Ms. Dana as our lead staff member, Ms. Val and the kitchen gals for cookies, Central Bank for the generous cash donation, waters, and assisting with serving, our volunteer grandparents (Tonalea Rehmer and Frank & Jane Cooley), Ms. April Young, Mrs. Sara Bryan, Mrs. Jessica Hammond, and Mrs. Liberity Cole for running the book fair like pros (it was WILD). An event like Grandparents Day truly takes everyone so thank you to all staff for pivoting for the day, and going above and beyond to make sure the day was a success. If you were in attendance we are so thankful you chose to spend your time with us. Smithton is truly a special place!

We are slowly seeing a decrease in our daily transportation changes. Thank you for being mindful and minimizing the changes.

We are struggling with bus behavior and would greatly appreciate you guys reminding our bus riders of the appropriate bus behavior. We want everyone delivered safely and in a timely manner! We appreciate your support!
