Greetings Students, Parents, Guardians and Community!
Welcome to a new beginning at Marcella LeBeau Elementary School! As the principal, it is my pleasure to extend a warm greeting to you all. I hope you had a restful and enjoyable summer, filled with many memories.
Our dedicated team of teachers and staff have been working diligently to prepare for an exciting start in our beautiful new school. We are committed to providing a safe, loving, and enriched educational environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
This year, we have many wonderful programs and activities planned to enrich our students' educational experiences. We encourage you to stay involved and participate in school events and initiatives. Your support and engagement are vital to our success.

Class lists will be posted on Infinite Campus on August 13, 2025. In order to view class lists you must have completed the online registration for the 2025-2026 school year. If you're having any issues with this process, please email our Clerical, Courtney at Courtney.Dummer@k12.sd.us
Our ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open Marcella LeBeau Elementary will take place on August 15, 2025. We will start at 11:30am with the Sioux Falls Chamber kicking off the ceremony. Weather permitting, we will conduct the ceremony at the front door.
Our open house is scheduled for August 19, 2025 at 5pm. We will have open house from 5-7pm and there will be more information to come on this event. We will have parents and students come to the gymnasium for information and then funneled to their classroom. An exciting event taking place on the night of open house, will also be our grand opening of the SmartLab. We encourage everyone to take a look into the lab and meet Ms. Freeman.
