Oct. 30th Fall Parade Reminders
Fall Parade Route
The Fall Parade will be held up on the field this year. Please find a map of the parade route below. The parade route is very similar to our Race for Education track. Parents can view students from the parent viewing areas labeled on the map below. The parade will begin at 1:30pm.
A Fantastic Race Day -- Donations Still Coming In!
It’s such a special day each year as the whole community comes together in support of our school. We had a wonderful day filled with smiling kids, caring teachers and staff, enthusiastic volunteers, cheerful spectators, generous donors, and gorgeous weather.
We couldn’t have done it without each and every member of the Salford Hills Community working together for the students!
Even though Race Day is over, it's not too late to send in a contribution to show support for your racer! We still need a bit more to reach our goal -- If we reach our school goal we'll celebrate with a special Principal's Surprise at the assembly in November!
Every dollar is gratefully received, deeply appreciated and wisely used to directly support our Salford Hills Community. Thank you for your generosity!

Help your kid's class earn a pizza party and even ice cream if they are the top class🍕🍦

Home and School News
We Need You!!
The Home & School Association helps to plan events and Teacher Appreciation, coordinate volunteers for classroom activities, and so much more. But none of this happens without plenty of helping hands. Sadly, this is the last year for some of our best volunteers.
So we need you now more than ever to ensure these events can continue!
There are so many ways to serve at Salford Hills, both big and small. We would love to see you at our monthly meetings or you can reach out if you are interested in learning more at board@salfordhillshsa.org. Whether you are the parent of a Kindergartener or a 5th grader, it's never too late to get involved!
Next Home & School Meeting: Tuesday, Nov. 10th at 6pm in the SH Cafeteria!
Meetings are a great opportunity to meet other parents, learn about HSA events and discover different ways to get involved and volunteer -- big or small. We need you now more than ever! Bring your ideas, concerns, or questions to the Board and allow the kids to play since childcare is always provided at no cost! We hope you'll join us!
Volunteer Registration Form
If you have any interest in potentially volunteering (donating time, talent, funds or food!) at any time throughout the school year, please fill out the Google form below. There will be plenty of chances to get involved both in the classroom and at after school events. There is no commitment by filling out the form -- it simply adds you to the email list to be notified about opportunities where you could contribute in some way.
In order to be contacted regarding these opportunities, you must join our volunteer list by filling out the form below (you must fill this out each year).
Thank you! 😊
Need Clearances to Volunteer?
** Please note that all prospective volunteers must complete & submit the SASD Community Volunteer Registration and Disclosure Statement found on the SH Volunteering website each year.**
Clearances should be submitted to Mrs. Landis in the main office or at jlandis@soudertonsd.org.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, you can reach out via board@salfordhillshsa.org to contact all four board members: president (Heather Zeigler), vice-president (Desiree Bonkoski), secretary (Amy Burns), treasurer (Adria Zane).
