VOLUME 2
19 February 2026
Loving God,
As we begin this season of Lent,
help us to open our hearts to You.
May these ashes remind us to live with kindness,
to forgive others, and to grow closer to Jesus.
Bless our school community with peace and hope.
Amen.
PRINCIPAL'S WELCOME
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Yesterday, we celebrated our first whole-school Mass of the year as we came together as a community for Ash Wednesday. It was wonderful to see parishioners and parents join the children in the liturgy.
Parent Information Session & P&F Cultural Evening – Tomorrow!
I am very pleased to invite you to our P&F community event taking place tomorrow.
This year, we are refreshing the format of our Parent Information Evening and Community Night by bringing them together into one combined event.
From 4:30pm to 5:30pm, parents are invited to visit their child’s classroom, meet the teacher, and discuss classroom expectations, routines, and key events for the year. This hour-long window allows you to speak with all your children’s teachers.
Please note that there will be no formal whole-class presentation; the goal is to create an informal, personal opportunity for discussion.
After visiting the classrooms, please make your way to the school oval. From 5:30pm to 7:00pm, families are invited to enjoy a picnic while being entertained by a live Bush Band—complete with plenty of opportunities to dance! There will also be games and a visiting ice cream van. I look forward to seeing our school community come together for this special evening.
Pre-Kindy – Term 2
I am delighted to announce that, due to strong interest, we will be introducing a 3-Year-Old Pre-Kindy program beginning in Term 2. The program will run as a full-day session each Tuesday, with a focus on supporting a positive transition from home to the school environment and ensuring each child feels happy, secure, and welcomed in our care.
Places are limited. If you would like to express interest or enrol your child, please contact the school office.

eRideables in Schools from 2026
Our School is committed to ensuring that our students are empowered to travel to and from school safely. We recognise that eRideable devices such as eScooters and eBikes are a popular mode of transport accessible to many within our School community.
Equally, our School recognises that eRideables are subject to legislation that prohibit a child under the age of 16 from utilising these devices. Therefore, from Monday 2 February 2026, students who are under 16 years of age will not be permitted to use or store an eRideable device on school premises.
Examples of eRideables include but are not limited to:
• eScooters
• eSkateboards
• hoverboards
• eSkates
• eUnicycles
The Road Safety Commission has developed a webpage with information about the Road Traffic Code (legislation) which can assist individuals in understanding their personal obligations where eRideables are concerned. For more information about eRideables please click here.
