Wiggin Street Parent Update

Families,

This has been a great week at Wiggin Street, highlighted by a visit from the Kenyon Women’s Basketball Team for Wednesday Morning Fitness. Students practiced dribbling and ball-handling skills and had a wonderful time. Next Wednesday, the Kenyon Women’s Lacrosse Team will be joining us, and the following week, the Kenyon Men’s Soccer Team will visit! All students are welcome to participate anytime between 8:40–9:00 a.m. These sessions are led by Mr. Evans and Mrs. Eilbacher.

I have also shared pictures, videos, and information from these events with Team Tressel in hopes of arranging a visit from Lt. Governor Tressel, Ted Ginn Jr., and/or Dr. Lauren Miller. Fingers crossed!

A few reminders for next week which is MVCSD Homecoming Spirit Week:

Monday: No School (Teacher Inservice Day)
Tuesday: Pajama Day
Wednesday: Wiggin Street Wednesday (Spirit Wear)
Thursday: Disney Day
Friday: Orange and Black Day (MVCSD Pep Rally at 9:45 am on the playground)

Also, Mums and Mumkins will be delivered on Tuesday at 12:45 p.m. They will be available for pickup from 3:00–5:45 p.m. We still need a few extra hands to help—please check the link below if you are available.

Mums will be on the pavement at the back of the playground on Tuesday from 3:00-5:45 for pick up. Please make arrangements to have them picked up during that time. Thanks!

Third grade learned about the Preamble to the Constitution and celebrated it's birth on September 17th which was Constitution Day!

Mrs. Kramp's class had fun using the Plus Plus Blockas during math stations this week. They followed task cards to create their designs. Maddie and Evie used cooperation to build their comet and Ellie and Emersyn recreated the butterfly life cycle with blocks!
