Grandview Elementary
Parent/ Family Update - July 17, 2026
November 6, 2026
From the Principal:
Happy Friday, Grandview Families!
It's hard to believe we are already into November! As we enter this season of gratitude, I want to take a moment to share how thankful I am for our Grandview community. Our students continue to amaze us with their hard work, kindness, and determination, and we are grateful for the partnership we share with our families. Your support makes such a difference in helping our Tigers learn and grow!
Next week, we look forward to honoring the brave men and women who have served our country during our Veterans Day Celebration on Wednesday, November 11th. This is always a special opportunity for our students to learn about the importance of service, sacrifice, and gratitude. As a reminder, Wednesday will be a full school day, with dismissal at 3:00 PM, rather than our regular early release schedule.
With Thanksgiving break just a few weeks away, we are continuing to make every school day count! Thank you for encouraging your children to come to school each day ready to learn, work hard, and show their Tiger PRIDE.
Wishing all of our Grandview families a wonderful weekend!
With TigerPRIDE,
Dr. Susan Short

Join us as we honor the brave men and women who have served our country at Bellevue Independent Schools’ Veterans Day Ceremony on Wednesday, November 11 at 1:30 PM in Ben Flora Gymnasium. 🇺🇸
If your family has a veteran you would like to recognize, please RSVP and send a photo along with when and where they served to tiffany.hicks@bellevue.kyschools.us or katrina.rechtin@bellevue.kyschools.us. We look forward to honoring their service with our school community.
Kentucky Safe Schools Tip Line:
In order to promote a safe and healthy school environment, we encourage all of our students to report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or mental health concerns to a trusted adult. If they do not feel comfortable talking to an adult in the building, they can always report concerns to the Kentucky Safe Schools Tip Line at 1-866-393-6659.
