Good Evening Tigers,
This is Noel Keener, the proud principal of Ragsdale High, with this week's updates.
It is exam week! Our Tigers are READY! They have worked hard and our staff has prepared them well. Remember students- we need you to give 100% on all exams- they are worth 20% of your grade. Teacher and district made exams will be held June 3rd and 4th. June 3rd we will have first and third block teacher/district exams. June 4 we will have second and fourth block exams. Attendance will be taken and all students should attend class each day. Students with state exams will continue with regular class those days. We ask that there be no early release on those days due to the exams. We cannot release students until all exams are complete. On state exam days we will announce the end to testing via all call announcement.
June 5th we will have state exams for students who are taking Math 1, Math 3 or a CTE Exam. June 6th we will have Biology and English 2 exams, as well as CTE exams for students who had a math exam on June 5th. Only students with state exams are expected to come to school June 5 and 6.

For returning students, we want to know your interests! We are considering adding an EMT class and Construction Core class, which will lead to on site plumbing classes. Please see the QR code in our newsletter. Students will also be asked about preferences during first block.
