๐๐ A Message from Dr. Kocin ๐๐
Gator Families,
October is here, and we have so much to look forward to at Arbor Springs! One of my favorite parts of being your principal is watching our Gators grow in confidence, take on new challenges, and celebrate their accomplishmentsโbig and small. There is so much to be proud of, and we are just getting started!
At Arbor Springs, we encourage our Gators to Dream Big. Work Hard. Make It Happen. We want our students to believe in themselves, keep trying when learning gets challenging, and feel proud of their progress along the way. You help build that confidence every time you read together, celebrate their effort, or remind them, โYou can do hard things!โ Thank you for helping us turn those big dreams into little victories each day.
We cannot wait to see everyone at the Gator Run on October 2! Thank you for the encouragement, generosity, and school spirit you have shared throughout our fundraiser. We are excited to cheer on our students and celebrate together. Get ready to bring that Gator energy! ๐ The Wonderland Bookstore will be here as well if you would like support our Media Center for Gator Literacy Legacy. More information found below!
Mark your calendars for Literacy Family Night on October 29! Come wearing your costumes and prepare for a fun and spooky time! We look forward to an evening of reading, learning, and making memories with our Gator families. It is going to be a spooktacular night! ๐๐ Thank you for the many ways you support your children and our school.
Letโs make October another wonderful month to Dream Big. Work Hard. Make It Happen. We love our Gators! ๐๐
With Gator Pride,
Dr. Adrienne Kocin

๐ SAFETY FIRST AT MORNING DROP-OFF!
Please use the car line every morning.
For everyoneโs safety, do not pull around to the flagpoleโeven when running late. Buses and student transfers are moving through this area.
A few extra minutes can make a BIG difference in keeping our Gators safe!

Dear Parents and Guardians,
This October, take a few minutes to talk with your child about what to do if they ever feel unsafe. Make sure they know their full name, a parent's phone number, and which trusted adults they can turn to for help. Remind them that it's always okay to speak up when something doesn't feel right.
A simple conversation today can help keep your child safe tomorrow!

Gator Literacy Legacy
Dear Gator Families,
We are excited to introduce a new way for our families to celebrate special moments while helping our Media Center continue to grow โ Gator Literacy Legacy!
Through the Gator Literacy Legacy, families can donate a new book to the Arbor Springs Elementary Library in honor of their child, a teacher, staff member, or someone special. Itโs a meaningful way to celebrate while leaving a lasting gift that our Gators can enjoy for years to come!
We are especially excited to have partnered with The Wonderland Bookstore to help bring this program to life! Through this partnership, books will be selected and ordered especially for our library, helping us add wonderful new titles to our collection while supporting a local bookstore.
You can celebrate all kinds of special moments โ birthdays, reading milestones, academic achievements, character recognition, Pre-K or Kindergarten milestones, 5th grade graduation, reaching a reading goal, honoring a favorite teacher or staff member, remembering someone special, or simply โjust because!โ
Once you submit the request form and payment, we will select and order a brand-new library book based on the information you provide. When it arrives, weโll add a special bookplate recognizing the occasion. Your student will then have the opportunity to be part of the Gator Literacy Legacy moment on GNN and be among the first to check out the new book!
Every donated book becomes part of our library collection, which means your familyโs story becomes part of Arbor Springsโ story, too.
Simply scan the QR code on the attached flyer to get started!
Thank you for helping us Leave a Legacy. Grow a Reader. Build Our Library.
Best Regards,
