Character Trait of the Month - Inspire

Tori Rusche, a senior at Jarrell High School, wrote and presented this month's character trait essay about Inspire and what it means to her. She writes that her family is her source of inspiration, saying, "I'm standing here today preparing for the next steps in my life, thankful for the strength I have and my loved ones who surround me and the inspiration that I have gained from the examples that they have set for me." Click on the tab below to read the rest of her essay.

Casey Hargrove

Casey Hargrove is the developer of the Hunters Glen Subdivision. Hunters Glen Subdivision is the neighbor adjacent to and north of Double Creek Elementary School. Casey has been involved since the inception of DCES. He worked with the landowner who sold the property to Jarrell ISD, the City of Jarrell, and JSWSC to cost-share water access in the area. Mr. Hargrove fully supported the JISD request to the City and County to widen CR 307 as well. The most significant cost savings to our school was when Mr. Hargrove installed the lift station for his subdivision and oversized the facilities to accept sewer from DCES. This was at no additional cost to JISD. This saved the District well over $300,000 in infrastructure. A community partner like Casey Hargrove was a valued asset in helping Jarrell ISD complete Double Creek Elementary School on time and within budget! We appreciate his support. Mr. Hargrove could not be at the school board meeting. His colleague, Abigail Brown accepted the award on his behalf.
