We are proud to recognize our outstanding state speech qualifiers: Winston Wilkey (Informative), Grace Wallerstedt (Entertainment), Lily Petersen (POI and Serious Prose), Ashlynne Gramke (Persuasive), and Naomi Gahan (Extemporaneous Speaking). These students demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication in earning their place at the state level. Special congratulations go to Grace Wallerstedt for earning Runner-Up honors in Entertainment, and to Lily Petersen for an impressive showing as Runner-Up in Program of Oral Interpretation and 5th place in Serious Prose. We also extend our sincere appreciation to coaches Nancy and Lonnie Lierman for their guidance, commitment, and support in helping these students achieve such remarkable success.

Spring Testing Schedule

It is vital for students to get a good night's sleep and a healthy breakfast prior to testing!

Social Emotional Learning

Oakland-Craig offers a great deal of social emotional supports for our students. All students have a weekly guidance lesson with elementary using the Second Step curriculum and the Jr-Sr. High using the Social Institute curriculum. We also offer a mental health club for Jr-Sr. High students. In addition, we do offer the opportunity to participate in individual counseling services for a small number of students each year.
