Woodbridge School's Vision

Woodbridge School inspires and nurtures students to be lifelong learners so that they can connect with the community and improve the world!

Principal's Message Principal's Message

As we begin another wonderful school year, I want to emphasize the importance of regular school attendance. Every day your child is at school is an opportunity to learn, grow, build friendships, and develop the skills they need to be successful. When students miss school frequently, even for a few days at a time, they can miss important instruction and fall behind their classmates.

We also understand that life happens and that there are times when students must be absent. If your family is experiencing challenges that are affecting your child's attendance, please reach out to us. We are here to partner with you, problem-solve, and support your family in any way we can.

At Woodbridge Elementary, we believe that when families and schools work together, students thrive. Thank you for making attendance a priority and for partnering with us to ensure every River Otter has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed!

Thank you for your continued support as we work together to make this a fantastic school year for all of our students!

Reminders Reminders

Just a reminder, this year we are changing the way we are handling house shirt orders. House Shirts are now being pre-ordered just like our Woodbridge Spirit Wear Shirts. There will only be a couple of times students will be able to order House Shirts each school year; order forms go out in Aug & again in January. All students were given a House Shirt order form in the Otter Envelope along with the Woodbridge Spirit Wear Order Form (these are two separate order forms). House Shirt Order Forms must be filled out and turned into your child's teacher or the office with cash or check attached. Please make checks payable to Woodbridge PTA. House Shirts cost $10 each. All House Shirt Orders are due by (Friday Aug 28). Orders will be submitted to

Smart Watches will be treated the same as a phone on campus, per board policy. If a student is using the device on campus, it will be placed in the office for a parent/guardian to pick up.

Please see below for a couple of reminders:

  • Students drop off is between 7:45 am and 8:10 am.

  • Free breakfast will be served until 8:10.

  • Students not eating breakfast will head straight to the playground to walk.

  • Late students need to go directly to the office for a tardy slip.

  • TK/Kindergarten students need to be supervised by a parent/guardian until the teacher arrives.

  • Please put your child’s name on their backpack, clothing, and lunch box.

  • Other than BRIDGE PROGRAM students need to be picked up at the end of the school day, unless they walk/ride home.

  • Breakfast and Lunch are free to all interested students; bring ONLY healthy snacks to school. No candy, Hot Cheetos, or Takis

Please do not drop your child off in the bus loop in the morning. This is for busses ONLY. Also, please remain in your car in the drop off zone in front of the school to keep traffic moving along. This area is a loading/unloading zone ONLY. Thank you for helping our mornings run smooth!

As always, thank you for being a partner with us in your child's education! Together, WE can make a difference!

Phones down, heads up. Creating connections in the classroom.

As we settle back into the routines of school, please help us remind your children that their phones should be put away during school. During school hours, campuses are a "no phone zone" and students will be expected to keep their phones off and put away.

This initiative is designed to support a more focused learning environment while encouraging real, in-person connection outside of the digital world. For more information and answers to frequently asked questions, please visit www.lodiusd.net/be-present.
