WES is ALL THAT!
Wylie Elementary November Family Newsletter
Principal's Message
Hi Families,
It’s hard to believe it’s already November! This time of year always reminds me how thankful I am for our school community. Our students come to school each day ready to learn and grow, our teachers go above and beyond to make learning exciting, and our families continue to show incredible support in so many ways.
As we head into the holiday season, I hope your family enjoys some time to relax, recharge, and make special memories together. Thank you for all you do to help make our school such a wonderful place for kids to learn!

What is Gratitude? Gratitude is choosing to notice and appreciate things in our life, things in other, and things in the world!
November is a time of giving thanks and reflecting wit gratitude on our many blessings. The November classroom guidance lessons will be focusing on GRATITUDE and being thankful for what we have and or the beauty that surrounds us. The first grade lesson will use the book The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein and do an art project with the lesson. Second grade students will listen to the story Our Table by Peter H. Reynolds and do an activity based on the book. Third grade will use the book The Secret of Saying Thanks and complete a lesson to go along with the book.

(Henderson Inner Church Ministries) to provide Thanksgiving and Christmas meals to those in need. We would like to encourage everyone to send what you can this year as the need is greater than it has ever been before. We are grateful to live in a community that so richly blesses those in need.
