Welcome Spring 🌺
March is a time for growth, kindness, and learning new ways to handle big feelings! This month, students will focus on friendship skills, emotional regulation, and perseverance.

Perseverance means not giving up, even when something is hard.
Encourage your child to:
• Try again after mistakes
• Keep working toward goals
• Celebrate effort
Calm-Down Strategies
Help your child practice:
• Deep breathing
• Counting to 10
• Taking a break
• Using words to express feelings
• Asking for help
March 5th- Career Day👩🏻🚀
We are excited for Career Day! Students will learn about different careers and hear from special guest speakers.
Students are invited to dress up as their future career! This is a fun way for students to explore their interests and share their goals.
Examples include:
• Doctor or nurse
• Teacher
• Police officer or firefighter
• Veterinarian
• Engineer
• Athlete
• Scientist
• Or any career they are interested in!
Encourage your child to:
• Ask questions
• Listen respectfully
• Have fun learning about careers
• Be proud of their future goals

Spring Break March 9-13🌞
We hope everyone has a fun and relaxing Spring Break!
Safety Tips for Families:
• Supervise children closely, especially in public places
• Review safety rules (stay with an adult, look both ways, etc.)
• Encourage children to use safe choices while playing
• Maintain routines like regular sleep and meals when possible
Emotional Wellness Tip:
Spring Break is a great time to:
• Spend quality time together
• Let children play, relax, and recharge
• Talk with your child about their feelings and experiences

HEB Plastic Bag Recycling Challenge 🌎
Join us in collecting ANY clean recyclable plastic bags. Beginning Monday, March 2nd your child can begin bringing in clean recyclable plastic bags to turn in to their teacher. The more bags we collect- the more money we raise!
