Customize Your Stopfinder App

Bus-rider families,
You've got the Stopfinder app, now let's make it work for you. In order to take advantage of the app's full functionality, you need to customize your experience within the app.
Starting this week, Stopfinder will resume as our sole source of transportation notifications.
Please note, we are still making adjustments and learning the app's full functionality. We are looking into unique circumstances, such as buses that loop routes or bus routes that enter and exit a geo alert area multiple times per trip.
Turn on Notifications
Set up GeoAlerts

Please note, the district has not activated all features highlighted in the video, and you will not see the bus route map.
Create an ETA Alert
Want to know when your bus is getting close? Create an ETA alert. Follow the same steps as above, but instead of clicking "Add GeoAlert," select "Add ETA Alert." This is not automatically set up, and must be done by the user to customize the app to their preferences.
Manage who has Access
Need to share access with a family member or caregiver? Tap the ellipses menu on the upper right-hand corner of the student card for the student you wish to share. Tap "Share Schedule" on the menu that opens at the bottom of the screen. Enter the required fields on the "Share Schedule" screen and tap "Share."

FAQs
Why don't I see the bus route when I click "View Map"?
We do not have the map functionality turned on. However, you can still utilize the ETA and GeoAlert features for detailed information on when the bus will arrive.
I only see one of my children's route information. How can I add another child?
Scroll down to see additional children's schedule information. If you do not see your other children, don't worry. This is something our transportation team can help with. Fill out the transportation assistance form.
Will the app show the route number or a different bus number if they are using a different bus that day?
The app will notify families if the bus number changes. This will help you have real-time information about your child's bus.
Why did my child get marked as "on the bus" when they didn't ride that day?
Our team is getting comfortable with the new app and may have accidentally selected that all students were on board. We are actively training our drivers to avoid this in the future.
Why does the messaging feature not work?
We do not have that functionality turned on. For transportation assistance, please use the Transportation Assistance Form.
