LES Attendance
We have been working so hard on attendance this year; it takes the entire LES village of parents, teachers, students, and support staff to ensure that the needs of our students are met, and we make the students feel at home at LES. Our village has been doing such a phenomenal job! Parents, you have been partnering with us to ensure that your children are attending each and every day. Please report your child's absence as quickly as possible. Remember that you make-up 15 of your child's absences a school year with the use of Short Term Independent Study.
Recent weekly classroom attendance winners:
10/31- Mrs. Goodman - 100% attendance
10/24 - Mrs. Carlson -100% attendance
10/17 - Mrs. Clottu -100% attendance
10/10 - Mr. Kaylor -100% attendance
10/3 - Mr. Kaylor -100% attendance
Way to go! We look forward to seeing your child each and every day at LES!

“Stay Consistent Even During the Busy Season—Every Day Matters!”
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we move into November and the start of the busy holiday season, we want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of consistent school attendance. Our November attendance focus—“Stay Consistent Even During the Busy Season—Every Day Matters”—reminds us that every school day counts toward your child’s learning, growth, and success.
Even a few missed days can make it harder for students to stay on track academically and socially. Attending school regularly helps students build strong routines, stay connected with classmates and teachers, and maintain momentum as we approach the end of the semester.
We understand this time of year can bring travel, family events, and other commitments. Whenever possible, please schedule trips and appointments outside of school days, and make sure your child attends every day unless they are sick.
Thank you for partnering with us to prioritize attendance and keep our students learning and thriving. Together, we can ensure that every day truly matters!
Warm regards,
Christine Eagleton
