5th Grade News

What an amazing and busy Catholic School's Week we have had! We are so blessed to be part of such an amazing community, and I am so grateful for all of you and your children.
This week, there are permission slips in the Friday Folder for our next field trip to Arroyo Burro on February 25. This field trip puts an emphasis on our Science curriculum about our water, where it comes from, the effects of pollution, and how to care for our environment. Please sign and return these in the Friday Folder.
We continue to make progress with our State Report, finishing up "Introduction" this week. In Math, we work on multiplying fractions. With this unit, we are not only continuing to simplify, but we learned how to cross cancel, and simplify before we multiply. In SciTrek the class mad posters to present their findings to the class. In Religion, we finished our Catholic Daughter of America entries, and finished with our parts of the mass.
Valentine Kickball Afternoon!
