Tamarack Elementary

Mrs. Morris' Message
Hello Tamarack families,
We had an incredible start to the school year. We are so excited to have our STARS back in the building! The Kentucky Wesleyan Football team helped us welcome students on the first day, and we were greeted with lots of high-fives and smiles. We will spend the next few weeks getting to know our students and helping them to learn our Tamarack Expectations. We recite and review these expectations every day. We are looking forward to an amazing year!

PBIS and the STAR System
PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) is an organized, data-driven system of interventions, strategies, and supports that positively impact school-wide and individualized behavior planning. Our goal is to model and teach appropriate school behavior.
On Monday, we will be starting our new STAR reward system. I have attached some information explaining how the system works. This system was created to reward students for following our Tamarack Expectations.
