Notes from the Office:

Recently Added School Fees

You may have noticed recently that a few fees have been added to your student's account. These fees are for elective classes, the classes that are able to be changed in the first few weeks of school. We add them to the student's accounts after the first few weeks of school to allow for changes to be made in the schedules. Please feel free to call the office with any questions, 513.273.3305.

Student Pick-up/Early Dismissal

Parents please know that when you need to pick-up your student up early from school we will check an ID, even if we know you. Please understand this is for the safety of the children. Always remember to bring your ID inside to show us.

ProgressBook

Now is a great time to get in the habit of checking ProgressBook at least once weekly alongside your student. If you have never used ProgressBook before, please contact Janna Eason for your user key, 513.273.3305. Letters with your user key and step-by-step directions have been sent out in the mail.

Tuesday/Thursday Help Sessions

Teachers will be assigning after school help sessions on Tuesday and/or Thursday for any student missing assignments. Please check with your student to be sure they have turned in all of their work! If they haven't, the required help session will be an excellent time for them to get it finished.

Tardies to school

For students who arrive on foot, by bicycle, or by car, please arrive to school on time! We want to see you and help you learn.

Hours of unexcused tardies count toward your absence total. Upon the third unexcused tardy to school (per quarter), administration will issue a lunch detention. Subsequent tardies will accrue either lunch detentions, after school detention, or In School Assignment in order to make up missed time at school.

Thanks for your help in getting our kids to school on time!

COOKIE DOUGH FUNDRAISER!!!!!

Cookie dough fundraiser orders for choir and orchestra are expected to be

delivered on the 26th.

Students who have large orders - need to be picked up after school with their orders. Ms. Shumway and Mrs. Case will stay until 6 pm.

TMS does not have a freezer -- orders must be picked up on the 26th!

It is NEVER too soon to start planning! 8th Grade WASHINGTON, D.C. Class Trip!!!!
