Oakhurst Families,

As the weather warms up, Oakhurst remains a popular spot for after-school play. While we cherish our safe and loving community atmosphere, please remember that school supervision ends at dismissal. We have seen an increase in unsupervised children in various areas around the building, including the small playground near the car rider line. For the safety of all, please ensure your children (including siblings) are within your line of sight while on campus.

Also, cool mornings and warm afternoons mean that our Lost & Found is currently overflowing with hoodies. Please stop by to claim your items before Spring Break, as all unclaimed clothing will be donated.

We are pleased to share that your child's Spring progress report is now available in the Parent Portal. Please note that this report card represents a mid-semester snapshot of your child's academic progress and does not reflect final grades. Teachers will continue to update grades and provide feedback throughout the remainder of the year as learning continues.

We encourage you to review the report card with your child, celebrate their accomplishments, and discuss any areas where additional support may be helpful. Ongoing communication among families, students, and teachers is an important part of supporting student success.

If you have questions or concerns about your child's progress, please don't hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or school administration. We are committed to partnering with you to support your child's growth and learning. Directions for accessing grades in the Parent Portal are on page 24 of the Grading and Reporting Handbook.
