Best Schools
zoom_out_map

November brings plenty to be thankful for, and we are especially excited to share that Jackson High School has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the Best High Schools in the nation! JHS ranks among the top 30% of more than 27,000 high schools nationwide. This recognition considers factors including student performance on state assessments, college readiness, and graduation rates.

This accomplishment reflects the hard work of our students, the dedication of our faculty and staff, and the support of our families and community. Our staff pours time, energy, and heart into giving students the best education possible, and we are thrilled to celebrate their efforts. Thank you for being part of what makes JHS such a special place!

JHS will host Jackson Chamber of Commerce Businesses on Wednesday, November 18 for Senior and Junior students to learn more about local businesses and connect with business leaders. Students will hear a short presentation to get tips on how to best present themselves to employers (firm handshakes, eye contact, good questioning techniques, and more). Students will get to practice these skills by talking to business leaders! Last year, this was a huge success and some even walked away with job opportunities.
