Riverside Mission/Purpose Statement

The mission of Riverside Elementary is to provide a nurturing, enthusiastic, and safe environment that acknowledges individual differences, encourages community involvement, and emphasizes an ongoing commitment to academic excellence.

Riverside will honor our Veteran's with a school lunch and cake. If you're a veteran connected to Riverside, please RSVP that you will attend! You will join your student during their lunch time. We look forward to celebrating you! RSVP by Wednesday, November 4th.

Students are invited to dress up like their favorite storybook character with a $1 donation benefitting Relay for Life! Your donation can be made online in advance on MyPaymentsPlus or cash can be sent in on 10/30. Costumes should not be scary, not have words, graphics, or weapons that are inappropriate for school. No face masks or fake blood. When it doubt, leave the accessories at home.

Trunk or Treat on October 29th at NGHS Senior Lot from 5-8pm.

Costume Contest at 7pm! Please bring canned food donations to support the NG Co-Op.

Please note changes to the menu on Monday & Wednesday due to early release.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Drop the kids off at Elevate Martial Arts and enjoy dinner at The Diner in Sugar Hill on November 7, 2026 from 4:00-7:30PM. Please mention Riverside Elementary School at checkout.

Food can be dropped off by your student in the front lobby on November 9-13th.

We will be collecting canned goods, hygiene products, non-perishable foods, and more.

This drive supports the North Gwinnett Coop.

Join Compassion in Action Project on Sunday, November 15 as we host a community service event to make sandwiches for The Sandwich Project, a nonprofit that helps meet local food scarcity needs. 3:00pm-4:30pm at the E-Center in downtown Sugar Hill Ages 5 & up welcome, nut-free deli meat area available. Unable to attend? You can still help by donating!
