Brrrrrr... It's Getting Chilly!

As the weather starts to get colder, please check that your child is dressed accordingly. They do continue to go out for recess as weather permits. We want the students to be able to get outside for as much recess time as possible, and remain warm and cozy while enjoying some winter sunshine.

ABSENTEE, DISMISSAL, DROP OFF/PICKUP PROCEDURES:

If your child is going to be absent, please call the Attendance Office before 9:00 A.M., email ersmainoffice@cinnaminson.com, or send a note to the office with another child. In addition, please refer to the homework policy on page 11 of the student handbook regarding procedures for missed homework when your child is absent.

To ensure the safety of all students, send an e-mail or note to your child's teacher whenever he/she will have an early dismissal or a change in his/her regular dismissal plan.

When arriving late, parents/guardians must sign their child in to school in our main lobby. To pick up a student, parents/guardians must report to the main lobby to sign out their child. Under no circumstances are students to be taken off of a bus or out of line by a parent/guardian. Also, students cannot be called out of class for any dismissal changes once the afternoon announcements begin at 3:00 P.M.
