Staff Spotlight
Congratulations to 7th-grade language arts teacher Ms. Gloria Bedford, who recently received recognition from the "Extra Yard for Teachers" initiative. Due to the impact she made on Emily Digby, a University of Georgia softball athlete, Emily chose to recognize her with the Extra Yards for Teachers nomination for the effort and support she received as a student. Thanks to a partnership with the College Football Playoff Foundation and DonorsChoose.org, Ms. Bedford secured $5,000 in funding for our school to purchase classroom supplies and materials. She was featured on the SEC Network for Extra Yard for Teachers (video below). Way to go, Ms. Bedford!
