At Redwood we lead with kindness every day. We stand up for one another and we treat others the way we want to be treated. Let's show our kindness this WEDNESDAY and wear PINK for kindness week. We hope to see lot's of shades of pink on Wednesday!

Wear your favorite Disney gear on Friday for spirit day! Period 4 classes can earn points for class of the year based on how many students participate! Lunch time activity on Friday will be "Guess the Disney Movie".

Reminder for Future 6th Grade Students - - - Course Request forms are due by this Friday, February 27th.

Future 7th and 8th grade students can submit their course request form online starting THURSDAY! Forms must be completed by March 5th.Course request forms will be available in February current grade 6 and grade 7 students.

Calling all 6th and 7th graders - Do you want to be in EDGE next year? EDGE is a cohort of students who take specific classes together in preparation for application into the Advanced Placement program at TOHS called the "Center for Advanced Studies". EDGE applications are open to ALL STUDENTS. You do NOT need to be GATE identified in order to apply. We welcome all students to apply for consideration each year. Students currently in EDGE will also apply to continue for the next school year.

• Applications are IN PERSON starting in April and May.
  
• Students interested in applying for EDGE should visit the EDGE website to learn more about the program and application dates.
  

Grade 8 Families - - - TOHS counselors will return to Redwood this week on WEDNESDAY 2/25 to collect the completed course request forms. Only students currently scheduled to attend TOHS next year will be allowed to turn in the course request forms. If you are waiting on school choice you will submit the course request after results are communicated in March.

• Students attending NPHS - Course request forms available in the Redwood counseling office.
• Students attending WHS - Course request forms ONLINE (opens March 19th).

8th Grade Families - Click on the above button for the end of year activities newsletter for 8th grade students. Remember that only eligible students may participate in the optional end of year activities.

Boys Volleyball - Practice every Tuesday 3:30pm-5:00pm Redwood Gym. Games start Wednesday, January 21st.
