AVID 10 Students Complete Their Community Service Project
With help from family and friends 3 AVID 10 students were able to gathered 180 socks to give to the residents in the assisted living and memory care at the Commons on Thornton Rd. While the residents had their dinner the students talked with residents and handed out their socks. The residents were so happy to receive a gift during this holiday and talk with these students. There was enough left to leave for any new residents that may come.
Thank you Alina, Jovie and Laurie 🎄💙
Shout Out to Advanced Woodshop and Ms. Hillan!
Advanced Woodshop cut out gingerbread people for the kindergartens at Julia Morgan and John Muir. They went to Julia Morgan and helped the kindergarten class paint them.
Nice job representing BC and serving your community!🐾💙

Parent/Guardian Climate Survey
Please look for the Climate survey and be sure to provide feedback
Each year, the district desires to obtain community input to measure parent and family engagement, including how well the district builds relationships between school staff and families, builds partnerships for student outcomes, and seeks input for decision-making. Each year the district collects this information in part using the Parent Climate Survey. This survey also helps determine the allocation of services included in the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), and is used to evaluate the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) for each Title I school site. It is a valuable source of information, and we hope that you take the time to answer thoughtfully. The survey should take about 15 minutes to complete. The survey will be available from December 11th to December 22nd. This link will take you to the survey. Your responses will remain anonymous. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback!
