To maximize student learning time, please ensure your child arrives at school on time each day at 8:44 am. If you need to pick up your child before dismissal for an emergency or an appointment, kindly contact the main office and ensure they are picked up no later than 3:00 PM.

1. School Spirit Week is Monday, November 4th through Friday, November 8th. Monday is Superhero Day, Tuesday is VIP Sports Day, Wednesday is School Colors Day, Thursday is Positive Word Day, and Friday is Pajama Day. Please download the flyer in our newsletter for additional information.

2. Woods Lake is the round up school for our local bookstore, Bookbug for the month of November. Woods Lake will receive money to purchase books if purchases are made at the Bookbug and rounded up to the nearest dollar. Please support our school with this initiative.

3. If you need assistance with winter gear for your children then please contact Dana Flynn with Communities In Schools at 269-337-0790.

4. Mobile Health Unit will be at Woods Lake on Monday, November 4, 2024.

5. 4th and 5th Grade Dance Companies attending trips on Tuesday, November 5th and Wednesday, November 6th.

6. The Kalamazoo Public Mobile Library will be at the school on Thursday, November 7th for our kindergarten students.

7 Please complete the Education Benefit Forms so your child can continue to receive free breakfast and free lunch. Please access the form at the bottom of the newsletter.

Hey families!

Students came home with a fundraising packet from the School Store, an online fundraiser we've used for the past several years. All students need do to earn a prize is follow the instructions on the front of the packet and return their folder to school- it is that simple!

This fundraiser allows Woods Lake to receive cash earnings from several participating companies, including major retailers. Also, this fundraiser allows for the purchase of Caring for Classrooms gift cards that directly benefit your child's teacher for classroom supplies and learning materials. 4. Your student(s) will have to ride their assigned bus until the change has been made or you will have to transport your student(s) to and from school until the change is made.
