Sixth Grade Sneak Peek – August 25th
We are excited to welcome our incoming sixth graders for a special Sneak Peek on the morning of August 25th! This event is for students only and offers an additional opportunity to get comfortable in their new school environment before the first day.
Our sixth graders have already participated in several transition experiences, including a building tour in June, to help them begin to feel familiar with Walpole Middle School. Now that team assignments will be shared with families on August 14, this Sneak Peek allows students to spend time with peers on their academic team and build a stronger connection to their new community.
Sneak Peek Schedule by Team:
Blue Team: 8:00 AM – 8:45 AM
Green Team: 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM
Orange Team: 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM
During their visit, students will be guided by our eighth grade student leaders. They’ll participate in a Q&A session, visit their homeroom and classrooms, enjoy a short recess with their team, and take part in a fun, get-to-know-you activity with their homeroom group.
If your child is unable to attend the Sixth Grade Sneak Peek, please don’t worry. Our sixth grade teams are well-prepared and will do a fantastic job helping students get comfortable and familiar with the building, their schedules, and routines during the first few days of school. Everyone will be supported as they settle in!
We can’t wait to welcome our sixth graders and help them feel confident and excited for the year ahead!
