Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher Conferences at Central Crossing High School will be held on Wednesday, December 10, from 3:30–7:30 PM. Families can schedule their conferences using the link below:

https://cchs.swcsd.us/parent-teacher-conferences

We encourage all families to connect with teachers and discuss student progress as we move into the second half of the semester.

Out-of-Building Procedure Reminders
If your student needs to leave school during the day, please request an out-of-building pass by calling our attendance line at (614) 801-6520. You can also use the new Attendance Request feature in the Parent Portal for quick and convenient processing. Thank you for helping us ensure a smooth and safe dismissal process!

End of Course Testing

Students in cohort 2026 and 2027 who have not yet met graduation competency in English Language Arts II and Algebra I will have the opportunity to retake the state end-of-course exams the week of December 8, 2025. Students who still need to reach this graduation standard will receive a letter during homeroom Monday, November 24th, which will list the test that they need to take along with the date and location of their testing. Guardians of students who will test will also receive an email with this same information Monday evening.

  • Please ensure that your student is present on the day they are assigned for testing, as these tests are graduation requirements!
  • Test preparation for the ELAII and Algebra I exams will be held December 1-5, from 7:20-7:50am, in the ERC.

Canned Food Drive Update

Thank you, Central Crossing families! Our Comet community truly came through on the final day of the canned food drive. We collected a total of 4,485 cans, including 1,435 cans brought in today alone—that’s 1,182 more cans than last year! All donated items will support members of our community throughout the winter months. We are so proud to be Comets!

A special thank-you goes out to the organizers of the Winter Kickoff, who donated the cans collected from their blanket raffle to support our drive. Food will be picked up in mid-December. If you still have cans to contribute, please send them in to Room 124.

Final Standings

  • 1st Place: Halleck 🎉🏆

  • 2nd Place: Freeman—coming incredibly close to taking the lead!

  • 3rd Place: Crisafulli

Congratulations to all participating classes! Thank you for helping us make such a meaningful impact this season!

Comet Olympics is BACK!

We’re excited to announce that Comet Olympics will take place on Tuesday, November 25.

  • What is Comet Olympics? It’s our version of a fun, high-energy field day—designed for teens and staff! Classes compete against each other in a series of friendly events, and the winning class will take on the staff in the final showdown.
  • Tickets & Sign-Ups: The last day for ticket sales and event sign-ups will by Monday, 11/24, during lunch. Tickets are $3, and all proceeds support our freshman and sophomore classes.

We’re looking forward to an exciting day of school spirit, teamwork, and Comet pride!
