This week's Educator of the Week is Mr. Perry Gaffoor. Mr. Gaffoor is a dynamic Science teacher at the FBMS. He works with students in the 7th grade Sharks cluster. In addition, he is also the Head Girls Soccer Coach at the MHS and he and his team had a very successful fall season.
Mr. Gaffoor joined the FBMS team this fall and has made an immediate impact on his students and the entire school. As Principal Kemmett noted, "Since he started, Mr. Gaffoor has been a ray of positivity in the building. As a coach, he has a great way of interacting with children, and that carries over into his work in the classroom. He sees the potential of every child who walks through his door, and he believes every child can achieve." She went on to add that, "Both students and adults who work with Mr. Gaffoor love his uplifting attitude. It's contagious! Furnace Brook scored a fantastic teacher for their students this year!"
