A Message from Ms. Peterson

Hello MCP3 Families,

This week our scholars finish their first learning unit, All About Me, with a focus on curiosity. A huge shout out to our MCP3 staff for nurturing the curiosity of our scholars each week through asking open ended questions, giving scholars choice during centers, and by engaging scholars in various experiments!

We enjoyed our first MCP3 Assembly and had Fun Friday in the Rauh Room! Be sure to check out some of the pictures below. Scholars did an incredible job meeting assembly expectations and really represented their college homerooms with pride! Be sure to check out all of the scholars' below who have had 100% attendance so far this year. Started in October, we will celebrate scholars with 100% attendance each month ~ starting next month, 100% attendance will include being on time!

Progress Reports will be sent home today in your scholar's folder. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child's progress and transition into MCP3, contact your child's teacher.

Pyramid Model Leadership Team

MCP3 continues to work on implementing the pyramid model program-wide, which as a framework designed to promote young children's social-emotional competence and address challenging behaviors. The leadership team consists of Ms. Peterson, Ms. Perine, Ms. Harrell, and Ms. Griffin. We are currently looking for a parent to join our team to ensure the unique cultural, community and lived perspectives of our families supports us in guiding our decisions. If you are interested in being considered for this role, please email allison.peterson@milwcollegeprep.com.

Billing Questions

Please reach out to our Office Manager Ms. Perine by emailing cassandra.perine@mkeprep.com or calling our office 414-264-6007 with any questions or concerns related to your payment or enrollment.

Our MCP3 payment policy states that payment must be made in advance of services. Be sure to make your payment on time so that your scholar's seat remains in good standing with our program.

Safety Commitment- Big Voice

Scholars continue to learn and practice different safety commitments in order to help keep the classroom safe. This week, scholars are learning about Big Voice. Using a "big voice" means that we use our words to tell people when they are doing something we don't like. For example, if someone snatches a toy from us we say: I don't like it when you snatch. Please ask me for the toy. Using our "big voice" helps us to problem solve safely without hitting or snatching the toy back.

Week 4: Curious Me
