Family and Community University

Aldine ISD will offer the Family and Community University to all families in the district. Through an innovative program, Aldine parents will have the opportunity to attend sessions that will help them provide support to their students at home and allow them to learn other academic areas.

The Family and Community University will offer a variety of sessions on Community, Academic Life, Continuing Education, and Well-Being & Social Interaction.

Families are invited to attend one of the two informational sessions that will be held at the Child Nutrition Center in September. For more information, you can contact Ivan Tamayo (281)985-3786.

Bank of America Student Art Wall

If we want our students to believe that they are artists, it is vital to give them a venue to make them feel that way! Kaileigh Newman, Director of Fine Arts, Sara Schoborg, Eisenhower HS Art Teacher, Mary Cooper , Houston Academy Art Teacher and Yvonne Lopez, Carter Academy Art Teacher all believe when students see their artistic expression on display for others to engage with, it's truly empowering.

Thank you, Bank of America of Greenspoint, for providing our students with a Community Wall to showcase their talents.

AUGUST EVENTS AUGUST EVENTS

Back to School Expo

Thanks to the hard work of volunteers and the generosity of our community partners, the Aldine ISD Back to School Expo was a huge success!

We were able to provide back packs and school supplies to more than 5,000 students. We gave immunizations to hundreds of our students and we administered the COVID vaccines to our families.

This event helped our students start the new school year on the right foot.
