New Family Orientation Was a Success!
This past week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our new families to Bishop during our New Family Orientation! It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with families, share important information about our school, answer questions, and begin building relationships that will help make this a successful year for everyone.
We are so excited to welcome our new Bobcats and their families to our community. We are looking forward to a fabulous year filled with learning, connection, and lots of Bobcat pride! Welcome to Bishop!
🐾 Show Your Bobcat Spirit!
It’s time to show your Bobcat pride! Our Bishop spirit wear is a great way for students and families to represent our school and celebrate being a part of the Broadway Bobcat community.
From shirts and sweatshirts to other fun gear, there’s something for everyone! Whether you’re cheering on our Bobcats at a school event, participating in Friday spirit days, or simply showing your school pride, we’d love to see our campus covered in Bobcat spirit!
Ready to gear up? Simply scan the QR code to browse our spirit wear options and place your order!
Grab your spirit wear and let’s show everyone what it means to be a Broadway Bobcat! 🐾
Building Our Bobcat Community: Expectations & BLTs
This week, our students participated in our Expectation Assembly, where we reviewed and reinforced our three school-wide expectations: Be Kind, Be Responsible, and Be Safe! These expectations help create a positive, welcoming, and safe learning environment where every Bobcat can thrive.
Students have the opportunity to earn Bishop Leadership Tokens (BLTs) when they demonstrate these expectations throughout the school day. Each week, students can enter their BLTs into our school raffle for a chance to have their name selected and receive a special prize!
But the excitement doesn't stop there! As a school community, we are also working together to fill our Bobcat BLT containers in the library. When we fill a container, we earn a special whole-school celebration or reward. This is a great way for students to see that when we each do our part, we can accomplish something amazing together!
We are so proud of our Bobcats for demonstrating kindness, responsibility, and safety and look forward to celebrating their continued success all year long! 🐾

Social Worker Spotlight
Greetings Families!
Week one is done! It was wonderful to see students back last week. I saw many eager, excited, hopeful, proud, and some nervous and sad faces as students arrived to their first day of school.
This week, we have Back-To-School night on Thursday. Stop by my table and say hi! I'll be providing information about attendance and giving out prizes for students who can answer questions about attendance. Next to my table, I will also be putting out tables with donated shoes, clothing, and coats, along with some baby items that were donated through the Santa Clara County Behavioral Health Services Department.
I look forward to seeing you all on Thursday!
