Principal's Weekly Update
Week of December 9-13
Administrator's Message 🐾
Wildcat Families,
We only have NINE school days in the first semester - wow! Time is flying by. It is imperative that students are working alongside their teachers to get any missing assignments turned in with enough time for them to be reflected on their semester grades.
When we return from break, students will be taking the MAP winter assessments in their math and English classes.
There will be a Virtual District English Learner Advisory Committee DELAC meeting December 10th. This is a chance for you to share your thoughts and ideas with the district office about how to support your students. The agenda with the link to the meeting can be found here.
Please read the entire newsletter for important updates!

Celebrating Our Community’s Diversity
The cities of Fairfield and Suisun City are two of the most diverse communities in California. To honor that diversity, each week FSUSD will be sharing information about the cultures that make up our extra special learning community.
Many cultural celebrations take place during the month of December.
Bodhi Day, celebrated on December 8th, commemorates the day the Buddha (sometimes referred to as Siddhartha or Shakyamuni) achieved spiritual enlightenment under the Bodhi tree.
