We hope that everyone stays healthy and free from illness, but we all know this is the season for sickness to hit us with little germ bugs. Here are just a couple of reminders if your child becomes ill.
First and foremost, if your child has vomited at home or at school, they must stay home. They must be vomit free for 24 hours before returning to school.
Secondly, if your child has/had a fever, they must be fever free for 24 hours before coming back to school.
Morning Health Check
Signs to Observe:
1. Fever or elevated body temperature
2. Severe coughing, breathing difficulties, or sneezing
3. Runny nose, diarrhea, vomiting
4. Looking pale or flushed
5. Acting cranky, crying, or fussing
6. Complaints of pain or not feeling well
7. Skin rashes, unusual spots, swelling or bruises
8. Listless or difficulty moving
9. General mood and changes in behavior
10. Reported illness in family members
