2025 STEAM Student Showcase at the CA STEAM Symposium

You and your students are invited to showcase your Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) program or activity. Students are at the heart of what we do, and we want to provide an opportunity to highlight your school or organization through a presentation, demonstration, or video of student work.

There are two primary ways to participate: asynchronously or live. You may submit pre-recorded video(s) of students sharing about a recent STEAM project to be screened during the event, or your students could lead an in-person demonstration during the STEAM Student Showcase on Saturday, February 8th

Each student group with their chaperone(s) will be provided a long table and chairs for students to have a dedicated area to demonstrate their work/projects. In the past, this Showcase was a highlight of the Symposium and event participants walked the Student Showcase area and engaged with students one-on-one.

For your students to participate in the event, please complete this Intent to Participate form by December 6, 2024. We look forward to seeing your students’ creative efforts! Please contact Karyn Warner at karyn@cdefoundation.org for more information or go to steamcalifornia.org for details about the California STEAM Symposium.

Did you find a great curriculum resource? Participated in a great research opportunity? Do you enjoy reading one of the books we offered teachers? Had a great PLC or PD meeting that you want to recommend for other teachers?

We want to hear your recommendations and share them with other science teachers!

If you have a favorite curriculum, reading, activity, or PLC plan that you want to recommend to other teachers we want to capture a short (1-3 minutes) video of you describing it and share it with other unified science teachers!

Email tlerner@sandi.net and one of us will come to visit you and record a short clip !
