KMS NEWSLETTER

Dear KMS Families,

This week will follow a modified bell schedule due to inservice days on Thursday and Friday. Please be sure to review the adjusted schedule so students arrive prepared and on time during this short week.

Credit Recovery will begin tomorrow. Students who are enrolled should plan to attend as scheduled and come ready to work. Additional details have been sent home with students participating in the program.

We also want to remind families that if you are dropping off food for your student, it must be brought to the office before 11:00 a.m. This helps ensure we have enough time to get items delivered to students before their lunch period. Only parents/guardians can drop-off food.

We appreciate your help in keeping our days running smoothly.

The halls were packed with excited students for our first FNL of the school year! These events are the culmination of fundraising by students and families, planning and organizing by the KMS PTSA, set-up, clean-up, and supervision by our wonderful staff and very generous parent volunteers!

Friday Night Lives are always a hit and the crowds seem to grow bigger and bigger each time!

In Coding and Design, student work together to learn new HTML codes. Next week, they will start coding their own webpages that they can share with their friends and family!

8th Grade Artists walked to Main Elementary to teach Mrs. G’s 5th grade class about printmaking.

KMS Cafe Advisory Committee members working closely with KIBSD Food Services to share feedback and represent the KMS student body.

Mrs. King’s Flex class students practice their paintings skills and begin to prepare panels for the mural installation along Powell Street.
