Powers Elementary-Weekly Newsletter

Thanks to all of the support during Right To Read Week at school. We had record numbers of guest readers in the classrooms and our PTO and staff worked collaboratively to create a fun environment around the building to try to instill a love of literacy.

Our 3rd graders begin state testing this week. Please make sure students get plenty of sleep as we wish them well and set them up for success. Look to your classroom teacher for specific testing information or if you have questions.

Note that there is no school on Friday.
