Yesterday 9/30, Serenity House came to MWJH to present a guidance lesson on mental health awareness/suicide prevention. Students learned about warning signs and what to do if they or someone else needs help.
Coming Soon: Red Ribbon Week🎀
October 27th-30th is Red Ribbon Week!
Serenity House will be returning to MWJH during R.R.W. to give a presentation on drug and alcohol prevention. All students will attend this presentation through either PE, Athletics, or Outdoor Learning. If you would like to opt your student out of this program, please email kkea@mwisd.net.
We will also have themed dress up days, stay tuned on Facebook or Parent Square for more information!
Character Trait of The Month: Integrity 👻
What does it mean to have integrity?
At MWJH, students can practice integrity by doing the right thing even when no one is watching. From bringing a misplaced item to lost and found, to picking up a piece of trash, there are a plethora of opportunities to show integrity at school.
Quote of The Month 💬
