Parents,

It seems like just yesterday when the temperatures outside were creeping into the 90s during the school day. Kids were coming to school in shorts, tee-shirts, and sandals. Here we are in late October as I write this, and the temperatures are changing quickly. Even when the high temperature is near 60 degrees, the morning temps are hovering near 40. Every single day we are losing 2 minutes of daylight as our planet shifts its tilt, and our hemisphere is farther away from the sun. Soon, our trees will be completely bereft of leaves, and winter's chill will be biting at any exposed skin while we line up to start school or play at recess.

It is VITAL that our kids come to school dressed warmly in hats, coats, mittens/gloves, and boots (when we inevitably have snow on the ground). Please check the weather reports daily for changes as storms can pop up seemingly at any time here in Wyoming. 🥶If you have any need of assistance, please give us a call: we have access to winter coats, snow pants, gloves, mittens, hats, boots, etc. If we don't have them in your student's size, we'll get them at no cost to you. We all have the same goal: we want our kids to be safe as they enjoy themselves in Wyoming's winter wonderland!

Of course, November also means Thanksgiving celebrations with family and friends. We at West Side certainly wish you and yours a very happy Thanksgiving!
