Phelps in November
The month of November is flying by! We have so many amazing things happening here. Be sure to check out all the events below (scroll down to get a preview of December events as well). Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday with your family. I am thankful every day for Phelps students, families, and staff. We appreciate your support!
Parent Conference Sign Ups NOW
Please see the link below to sign up for parent conferences as soon as possible. We will be using the same automated system that has been used for the past several years. Just as a reminder, parent conferences will be taking place on Monday, November 25 from 12:00-2:00 pm and 5:30-7:30 pm, and Tuesday, November 26 from 12:00-2:00 pm. Both days will be early release for all Phelps Elementary students at 10:45 am.
Save Those Coats! Coat Drive Going on NOW Through December 15
As you clean out your closets and bins for the cold weather season, please save any coats (both adult or children's sizes) that are in good condition to donate to our coat drive, which will take place November 15-December 15, 2024. It is our hope to collect and donate many coats to those who are in need of them this season. Our Grade 4 Student Council will be in charge of coordinating this event. It will be a House Competition to see which Phelps House can donate the most coats for those in need. Thank you for searching your closets and bins!

Phelps 2nd Annual Giving Tree
This year, Phelps will be holding its 2nd annual Giving Tree. If your family needs holiday gift help, the Giving Tree is able to offer assistance. You can email Nicole Caron, ncaron@rocklandschools.org, with a list. We are able to take lists that include two gifts for each child (high school age and younger, under $100 total per child). Lists need to be received by 12/1 to allow time for shopping.
Likewise, if you are interested in buying gifts for the Giving Tree, please email Holly Gage (hgage@rocklandschools.org) to volunteer. Happy Holidays!
